Hey Cisco, Hey Pancho ...

Has any of you ever heard of the Cisco kid? It was a western series way back from the 70's I think. Well, that was when I first watched it anyway. I think it was created way before the 70's though. Back then, westerns were the in-thing.

It was about this two do-gooders called Cisco and Pancho, played by Duncan Renaldo (Cisco) and Leo Carrillo (Panch0). Cisco was a bit dandily dressed in his finely embroidered shirts and silver spurs with a giant sombrero and Pancho was the ever lovable sidekick with a terrible grasp of the English language that was used to maximize the laughs.

I'll bet you guys probably haven't heard of this show. Even when I was telling Mrs. Spiff about it, she thought I was making it all up ... LOL! I'll bet you remember this show don't you, Adrian? It was a pretty neat show that I never missed. I wish they would bring back those good old days of the wild west.

Anyway, that wasn't really what I wanted to tell you a guys about. We've all heard about loads of networking sites, right? But have you heard about one for IT Professionals? A social learning network where you can enhance your IT career? Where you can browse for technical content and share insights, opinions and knowledge with the community? No? Well, then you've just come to the right place :D

The Cisco Learning Network is basically a place to do just that! If you're one of those nerdy little IT people and have some baffling IT problems that you just can't quite put your finger on, fear not cos with the Cisco network you compare notes with anyone on the network who just may have the solution to your problems. That's like IT haven for you IT nerds, right? LOL!

What's more, they offer various training and Cisco certification programs that you can take up to further enhance your career and help you get some great promotions and various other cool opportunities out there which can be translated into more money for you later.

Anyway, I'm not really all that IT savvy but I suppose if your really want to break into the IT business and need to keep up to date with the latest changes and inventions, then go ahead and sign up as a member and get connected with all those other IT guys and gals out there. If you're serious about advancing your IT career, this would be the best option :D
