Tools Of The Trade

My body hurts like it has never hurt before. I ache in almost every part of my body and it's all cos I decided to cut the grass in the back of my house using a pair of shears. Yes, a pair of shears to cut grass, mind you. And no, I was not being a cheapskate by not getting a gardener to do the job.

The backyard of my house is such a small little area that I thought why not try to cut it myself and the only thing I saw in the storeroom to do the job was a pair of garden shears. Why not, I thought. After all it's such a small little area and it won't take me all that long, right? And besides how hard would it be? Well, I was totally wrong on both counts!

I've never used a pair of shears in my entire life and I was panting from all that bending and cutting that by the time I was done, I nearly passed out from exhaustion. I've run half marathons before and I've never felt the way I felt yesterday. My lungs were gasping for breath and I think I pulled a few million muscles in my entire back.

Right now, my back hurts, my legs ache and my arms, well, lets not even go there. Let's just say that with every press of the keyboard every square inch below my elbow screams in pain! I never knew cutting grass in a back yard the size of a postage stamp could be so darn difficult. Next time, I'll just pay someone to do the job. Well, I suppose that's what you get when you decide to use the wrongs tools to do work. Whoever heard of anyone using garden shears to cut grass, trim a hedge, maybe. I never did say I was smart ... hehehe ...

Maybe next time, before I actually start any home improvement or do-it-yourself project at home, I'd better log on to ShopWiki and find the proper tools that I would need instead of using something totally wrong and suffering for it. And I'm bound to find something there cos they're not like your traditional shopping sites that only shows you store who have paid to have their adverts there.

They give you a lot more which means you can find just about anything and everything you need that's on sale online. Lets say you're looking for that perfect set of painting supplies to give your house a new coat of paint or maybe you just need a Ryobi power drill to annoy your neighbour or something, all you need to do is log on and search for it on ShopWiki and I'm sure you'll find some great deals on offer that will even probably save you some money.

But one thing it'll probably save you lots of is waking up the next day and not suffering from pains in every part of your body from using the RIGHT tools unlike a particularly stupid spaceman we all know :D
