Not Long More ...

There's just a little over a week left for me in this company. After a short break the first week of December and I'll be starting work in my new office. In a way I'm actually looking forward to leaving here and starting with a new challenge but on the other hand I'll miss this place a little.

I don't really have all that much work to do for the next week or so except tie up some loose ends and leave this company in the best possible shape when I leave. One thing I don't want is for them to be calling me asking me this and that when I'm at my new place.

I'll probably take the final two days I'm here to brief the office about what's outstanding and where all the files are kept. Hopefully they'll be able to digest all that in. I do want to leave here in proper terms and though I no longer like working here, I don't want to make enemies of anyone. The company did treat me decently for most of my time time here anyway.

I plan to make the most out of my couple of days break like go Christmas shopping with wifey, catch up on my nap, maybe paint the bed frames and just plain relax. I know once I start my new job, I'm probably going to be too tied up getting in the groove that I won't have much time to relax.
