I'm tempted to talk about my urmmm, borrowed dog but I'll refrain myself. It's getting a little embarrassing for this spaceman with everyone suggesting that I'm swooning over her. It isn't right for a macho and annoying spaceman to be showing his sensitive side ... hahaha ... But in true fact, you guys could be right, that Pebbles is just sooooooooo bloody adorable.
Ok, ok, enough about her already. If I keep on talking about her, I'll be here all night. Maybe I could tell you all about some free seo tools or something. I'll bet that would excite you guys ... LOL! I'm just kidding.
I was watching Indiana Jones just now. They were showing a marathon of Indiana Jones movies right up to the most recent one and no matter how many times I've seen all the Indiana Jones movies, I simply cannot get fed up of it. There is something about Indiana Jones that will always make it a movie you could enjoy over and over again and even look forward to sequels unlike some movies I've seen.
I guess it has something to do with the cast. Harrison Ford makes the perfect Indiana Jones that if he ever gave up being Indy, I don't think anyone could ever replace him. He embodies Indiana Jones. I've never seen his latest movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and today was my first time watching. While it may have been a little far fetched with its aliens from Mars story line, it was bloody entertaining nonetheless.
Now this can't be said about the Mummy 3 which I also caught for the first time last week. When I saw the first installation of the Mummy years ago, I thought it was so bloody cool. While it shadowed the Indiana Jones concept, it was very different at the same time. Brandon Fraser, Rachel Weisz and John Hannah were simply tailor made for the show. Even Arnold Vosloo as the baddie was perfect. And with them also appearing in the sequel, the Mummy 2 was equally entertaining.
Then came the Mummy 3 with a change in cast. Rachel Weisz decided to quit the show and her replacement Mario Bello was in my humble opinion, crap! Then the whole plot about a bunch of Terracotta warrior led by jet Li and featuring Michele Yeoh made it look like a kung-fu flick. Who the heck heard of kung-fu mummies?
It just goes to show how important a good cast selection is for the success of a movie. It could make or break it. Anyways, I think it's time for me to head to bed cos I'm already talking nonsense and seeing Pebbles curled up in a ball snoozing away beside me is making me sleepy too.
Have a great Sunday people :D

And a happy Sunday to you too
urmmm... i still like the pebbles stories... show us more pebbles.. :D bila u gonna lend her to me?
I didn't like Mummy 3 either. I find Mario Bello completely the wrong actress to replace Rachel Weizs. Even the son was 'boring'... he was way too serious. Yeah, they could've come up with a better story line.
Anny - LOL! I'm actually trying to get a video of her doing this thing I call the nose trick. But you kena sabar sikit, by the time I get my camera, she stops doing it ... hehehe ...
Nessa - Yeah, She was absolutely the wrong choice. She was trying so hard to be Evie that it was annoying. Rachel Weisz was so natural portraying the character that it was like second nature to her.
And the son, let me not even start about him ... LOL!
nose trick ko? go hide behind a chair or something and kasi zooooommm.. hehhehehe :D
bila u gonna send Pebbles to me?
Anny - Cannot la, she does that nose trick at random la. But I resolve to make a video of it no matter what ... LOL!
Anny - You're not going to give up trying to get Pebbles are you? LOL!
Who the heck is Pebbles? Ok, now I know I've not been dropping by your blog for quite some time! : )
But I've not forgotten you, otherwise how come I can still tag you? Hehe
I like Indiana Jones especially the Temple Of Doom movie. I also like Mummy 1 and 2, but like you, I find Mummy 3 crappy!
Foong - LOL! Check out my previous post for who Pebbles is :D
Foong - Hmmm, you're evil, that's why ... LOL!
Foong - Actually a lot of people I've spoken to hates the Mummy 3 as well and it's for the same reason as me ...
Pebbles Pebbles Pebbles... we want Pebbles
err.. Piper needs a Pebbles cutie friend... They look good together :D is that a good enough excuse?
Anny - Hahaha ... wah got picket line for Pebbles la!
Anny - Look out for my next post and make sure you let Piper read it too ... hehehe ...
