I'm losing my memory more and more daily so much so that one of these days I'm probably going to forget the way home after work! God forbid.
I'm been forgetting a lot of things these days. There are days when I'll forget to switch off the bathroom lights or forget to close the kitchen windows before going to bed for the night. When Mrs. Spiff asks me about it, I'll insist that I didn't forget only for it to happen again the next day.
There was this time when I opened her wallet and forgot to close it back and we both suspected the boys were messing with her wallet. Then the next day I was taking something from her wallet again and this time right before her very eyes I forgot to close it back properly. That was when we discovered I was the culprit.
This is happening quite frequently that I think my memory is fading fast. Take for instance yesterday. I was holding my coffee mug, then I walked into the store room, put the mug down on the floor to check if those termites were making a comeback or not.
Later at night during my usual coffee drinking time (yes, I drink coffee at night too, it's a habit) I went hunting for my mug and couldn't find it. Even Mrs. Spiff was at a loss as to its whereabouts. we hunted high and low and then suddenly it hit me that I forgot to take it out of the storeroom this evening!
I really believe I'm losing my memory. These are just a few incidences of me forgetting things. Like I said one day I'm going to forget where I live! Maybe it's time to keep a map in my car for such an eventuality ... LOL! Maybe I should go get one of those Apidexin pills for memory loss or something.
Loud booming voice from above: 'Spiff you idiot, apidexin is a diet pill and not for memory loss! You really are losing it, you know ...'
Urmmm, how the heck was I supposed to know that? Do I look like a pharmacist to you? Beside aren't you busy enough having to grant peoples prayers?
