This week seems to be moving at a pace that is more suited to a snail. It feels like forever and it's only Wednesday. Still two more working days after this before the weekend gets here. And this weekend is a little more special because the Hindus celebrate the Festival of Lights better known as Deepavali or Diwali, whichever you prefer.
Me and my good buddy, the Genie King are planning for our regular yearly open house visit to a restaurant we used to frequently visit a while back called Sri Paandi. On the first day of Deepavali every year, they have an open house for breakfast starting from 6am to urmmm, 12pm I think where they reward all their loyal customers with an open house or rather restaurant with free flowing food and drinks.
And being former loyal customers we always make sure we're there early in the morning lining up to grab some hot and freshly made chappati's, tosai's, roti canai's and loads more. We may be former loyal customers but the bosses and a handful of waiters still know us by face and give us slightly better service ... hehehe ...
My only gripe is that this holiday falls on a Saturday and I don't get an extra day off as a holiday ... siggghhh ... But I'm still looking forward to the weekend though. And before I sign off for today and go flood Emila's comment box, do any of you know what furnace filters are? I sure as hell don't and I'm too lazy to go Google it so if some kind soul could help, I'd be much appreciative of your efforts :D
