The Weekend Of A Quirky Spaceman ...

I've had a pretty good weekend, it didn't really start that way, but it turned out pretty decent in the end. Some things happened on Friday that was sorted out before the weekend started (yes, us quirky spacemen have our fair share or problems too).

Woke up pretty late today morning (still smelling heavily of garlic breath, according to Mrs. Spiff, that is - Buddy, just how much garlic did you even put in that bread you made?). Those of you who don't know what the heck I'm talking about, check out what I posted on Anything Goes! :)

Skipped taking the kids to Sunday school today (ok, ok, I feel guilty already!). As usual every month around this time, I take the boys out for their regular monthly haircut. Their hair was beginning to look like a mop already. Those two boys hair grows so blooming fast, I'm beginning to wonder what shampoo they're using. (The wife buys their shampoo, I don't know the brand, I just pay for it ... LOL!). I don't ever recall my hair growing as fast as theirs do. But at the rate of hair loss I'm going through, I wish it did grow as fast as theirs. Besides haircuts nowadays are NOT Cheap!

After the hair cut, we left the boys with my mom and then headed for our friendly neighbourhood hypermarket (yes, MP, the one where I could feed the whole family for a whole 5 bucks. LOL!). Boy, that place was so packed today, we could hardly shop in comfort. I've never seen that place as packed as I've seen it today. I guess it must be cos of the Hari Raya (The Muslim New Year) celebrations starting next week and everyone's getting some stuff for it. I wonder if my neighbour will send me a tray of goodies like what he does every year ... hehehe ...

One thing I hate about weekends is how fast it goes by when you're having fun. I mean, it was like only yesterday that it was Friday and now it's already Sunday late evening ... siggghhhh ... and the dreaded Monday is just looming round the corner. I guess I can't really complain, at least I'll be looking forward to next weekend ... LOL! Yup, you can probably guess I love weekends, right?

Well, that's all from Spiff for now. I'll be back for more later when I have anything worthwhile posting :)

Can you believe that my 2 boys have yet to enter the salon? Their hair are trimmed by me all this while. They dislike the thought of sitting down on the chair although nowdays there are salon which offer kiddo vcd & kiddy car chair for their to sit. Its also good cos I save a few bucks there. hehe ;p

Janice, lucky you, just imagine the amount of money you can save. Any time the boys and me go for a haircut, it cost us RM25.00 for all 3 of us. I could eat a nice meal with that kind of money ... LOL!

Yes, YES!! Too fast. I think weekends need to be s t r e t c h e d out a little longer.
I like the way you use italics to comment on your own page. I did not know that was possible. Now I look down and see the code acceptance. Ha!!!

Speedcat, welcome to my humble blog. Wish I could s t r e t c h that weekend even longer than those words ... LOL! The italic thingy was the wife's idea. She started it first and I thought it made it easier to see my replies from the comments :)

Sweetiepie, yeah, she deserves some pity. She suffered the whole night with my 'vampire' breath ... LOL!
