Today I experimented with cooking again
(yes, yes, even a spaceman does his share of the cooking). Well, actually I went out grocery shopping with Mrs. Spiff and halfway through the shopping, I told her I wanted to try whipping up something for dinner for us. She agreed. Wifey has been very supportive of my ever increasing interest in cooking ... hehehe ... So, I gathered some stuff for what I had in mind and when we reached home, I started the process.
I actually have no idea what to call this cos I've never done anything like this before. So, I'll just call it the Microwave Pizza Bun! That's the only decent name I could come up with for it ... LOL! It wasn't really difficult to do, just took a little time preparing all the stuff.
It was a little bland, needed a wee bit more seasoning but overall it was pretty good. I got 2 thumbs up from Mrs. Spiff :) and the boys simply adored it. My younger boy gave me 10 out of 10 and my older boy gave me 100 out 10 ... woohoo ... I'm overjoyed. I think I'm beginning to enjoy these little cooking experiments :) Be on the lookout for more as I conjure up some crazy recipes in the future. Here's a short pictorial of the process and finished product.
The bun preparation ...

This part I didn't really like. I had to actually touch all that yucky uncooked chicken ... LOL!
The minced chicken marinated with salt, pepper and some herbs ...

The bun with the sausage, stir-fried chicken, spread with garlic and herbs and topped with a generous amount of mozzarella cheese ready for the microwave process ...
The final gooey pizza bun just out of the oven with the garlic & herbs spread soaking slightly into the bun to give it flavor ...The only problem was today's connection was pretty buggy and it took me quite a while just upload all the pictures, maybe if I had one of those fancy schmancy
fiber optic cables thingy's then maybe things would be so bad. But dedicated fiber optics cost money and until I become a millionaire I guess I'm gonna be stuck with sometimes buggy connections ... siggghhhh ...
