No Fashion Sense ...

My other best buddy's wedding is just 2 days away this Saturday and I haven't even got my suit ready ... hehehe ... Actually truth be told, I hate wearing any suits. I'm the simple kind of guy who feels real comfortable in a pair of Bermuda's and T-shirts.

I've never been one to be flashy and stylish with my dressing. In fact if you see me when I go shopping, you'd probably wonder which jungle I came from. I mean back in my younger teenage days I was fashion conscious but not anymore. Back then I'd be up-to-date with the latest fashion in the market (oh and by the way, I grew up with the 80's fashion, so you can imagine how bad that was ... LOL!)

Even when it comes to dressing for work, I'll try to keep it simple. In my line of work, I'm actually supposed to dress properly and that means having to use a tie and stuff like that. But fortunately I have my own rules here and I normally end up coming to work with jeans and a short sleeved shirt ... hehehe ... come to think of it all my shirts are short sleeves :) I don't own a single long sleeve shirt, wait, maybe I do own one and even that I only use on days when I know I have presentations to do.

Good thing my boss is okay with what I wear to work. She's actually kinda particular about how people present themselves. She is so particular with it that she has been known to base her hiring on how pleasant the person looks and not whether they can work or not! One thing I know is I wasn't hired on how pleasant I looked, that's for sure ... LOL!

Later this evening, Mrs. Spiff and me are going to look for some accessories to wear for my buddy's wedding this Saturday. I'm seriously inclined not to wear a suit, but since I'm probably going to have to, I saw this great pair of silver cufflinks that would look just dandy on me with that one and only long sleeved shirt that I own ... LOL!

Nick,

I have a perfect solution for you. The shirts I am going to point to in a second are like evening wear in their own right. You can wear them without a jacket, they would eclipse some tuxedos. I own a couple of their white shirts -- totally in love with them. I'm a white shirt kind-a guy.
So here is the link to them: Wedding shirts. Enjoy!
Thank you for you blog!

Waterlearner, thanks. Truth be told, I seriously hate wearing suits, but I guess a man's got to do what a man's got to do ... LOL!
