Here Comes The Rain Again ...

The sky is totally dark outside my window and I can hear thunder in the distance. It looks like a nice good thunder storm is just around the corner. And I welcome it with open arms. I guess a whole load of people must be washing their cars somewhere ... LOL! It's been pretty hot the past couple of days so the rain is god sent.

In fact, I can even smell the rain :D I'm sure you all know what the smell of an impending rain storm smells like, yes? I just love the smell of before and after rain. Something about the freshness of it is so soothing. Cool, I can hear the rain already. See, I knew I could always smell the rain :D

The weekend has been a pretty decent one. We went shopping and had a great time. Managed to even get some of the things we wanted and even found a few other things that we had our eye on being sold at some pretty good prices. Looks like I'm going to have to withdraw some PayPal funds and go shopping again next week ... hehehe ...

The only thing that I dislike about weekends is that it goes by just a a tad too fast for my liking. We should have three day weekends. Hmmm, come to think of it, we should actually work 2 days and have the rest of the 5 days off ... hahaha ...

Ok, I hope you guys had as great a weekend as I did but now some work or rather assignments beckon. After all I do need to get more money for my shopping spree next week and what better way to start by telling you all about jobs in Austin, that is if you're interested in looking for a job in Austin!

I actually don't like the smell of the rain when it's been so hot before. It smells so earthly, lol!

Duh! I've been thinking of this a while ago, too and asked myself why do we have two days free only and 5 days work. I need more days for the weekend. :-(

Marlene - Earthy, that's the appropriate word to describe the smell. Strangely, I love that smell :D

Don't worry, when I become supreme ruler of the world, I'll make it compulsory to have at least 5 days of rest ... LOL!
