I'm very particular about the authors or books I read. I don't usually try out books I've never heard of but because I've read every book in my little mini library at least 10 times I decided to go downstairs where I have another cabinet of old books, not mine really, more like my moms and rummage through them. I found two books that looked decent and besides there was nothing else better to read so I grabbed them.
I thought I was probably going to give up halfway cos that's what I normally do with books I don't like or think I won't like. But I was pleasantly surprised that both the books were so darn interesting that I couldn't put them down at all. I was practically glued to every page so much so that I was sad when I finished reading it. Now what in heavens name was I going to read? Looks like it's time to rummage the cabinet again ... hehehe ...
Anyways, below is a little brief summary for one of the books I read. It's titled 'A Maiden's Grave' by Jeffery Deaver. A really captivating author who knows how to keep your interested piqued all the time. I just couldn't wait to see what happened next in every page.

Synopsis : A trio of desperate convicts has hijacked a bus carrying a group of deaf and mute schoolgirls who are now being held hostage in a disused slaughterhouse. FBI agent Arthur Potter has to negotiate with the men. The killers will murder one innocent child an hour until their demands are met.
