I don't normally talk much about sports here, not that I don't enjoy sports mind you but the teams I support normally don't do all too well. Take Arsenal for instance. I've been supporting them ever since I knew how to pronounce the word Arsenal and look at how they repay my undying loyalty? By losing to to Stoke City!
But I just had to pen a few lines here about my other favorite team from an altogether different sport. The McLaren Mercedes F1 Racing team. I must say that I'm utterly thrilled to note that Lewis Hamilton has finally clinched the F1 title in only his second season as an F1 driver. The youngest champion to date.
After all the obstacles that he faced, getting his points docked and demoted. Getting penalized and all the criticism he faced, the racial insults he endured. I'm am so glad that he's proven them all wrong by winning the championship. Well done Lewis. You have made my supporting McLaren Mercedes all that much more meaningful :D

Yay!! Happy for Lewis too. The spectators are all spoil sports. A win is a win and he did it in style.
I used to watch this kind of a sport on TV. It's just horrible to see when a car crashed and the driver passed out. I couldn't stand it.
Nessa - Yeah, the Brazilians spectators are sore losers, booing him and all that. He won fair and square with all the odds stacked against him. I'm really happy for him :D
Marlene - Well, the cars are much safer these days and so far the drivers walk away from the nastiest of accidents just fine :D
