I have a questions that has been bugging me for ages. Maybe one of you guys could help me answer it. I've tried to figure it out for myself. I've even tried mimicking it to see why it's done but for the life of me still can't figure it out.
And the questions is:
Why do rap singers just love to grab their crotch when they rap?
It only happens with the male rap singers, I don't see the female ones doing it though. Like I said, I've tried mimicking it and just can't figure out why they do it. When i tried it, Mrs. Spiff said I looked like a perverted little spaceman! LOL!
So please put me out of this misery and give me an answer!

Because rap is very territorial and since you can't piss to mark your territory, they grab their crotch instead. Again, why? you may ask, well...
1. Its a substitute to territorial pissings
2. Its a sign of male vitality, saying to the wall. "This is my cajones!"
3. Its a taunt, indirectly saying "Do you have the cajones?"
4. Its because Spiff The Spaceman can't figure it out, so they create this new mysterious gesture, just for Spiff.
