They say a dog is a man's best friend and it doesn't ring any truer for this dog called Hawkeye. The loyalty of this Labrador is so touching that during the funeral service of his owner, Petty Officer Jon Tumilson, Hawkeye walked up to the casket, heaved a sigh and lay down in front of the casket for the entire duration of the memorial.
Just looking at the picture was heart wrenching. I guess a loyalty of a dog for his owner knows no bounds, even in death. Maybe I'll just go sit in one of those
wooden swing sets and keep Pebbles company, she is also a loyal little thing.
