A strange thing happened to Mrs. Spiff and me today. After sending the boys to Sunday school, we headed to the nearby Hypermart to pass the time until they finished their classes.
As we were walking around the seafood section, Mrs. Spiff went over to check the prawns cos Giant sells some pretty fresh and reasonably priced prawns. There was this old Malay gentleman also picking out some prawns. The moment he saw Mrs.Spiff, he started singing loudly ...
'Oh anakku Salomaaaaa dengarlah
Lagu yang ayahanda karangi
Sifatkan laguku hai anak
Sebagai sahabatmu nanti ...'
Both Mrs. Spiff and me were initially shocked and just stood there looking at him but he didn't stop, he just kept on singing until she finally moved away from there. I think he has the hots for Mrs. Spiff la ... hahaha!
Looking back at it, it was so darn cool how he modified anakku Sazali to anakku Saloma and it was like he had a motion sensor attached to him cos the moment Mrs. Spiff stepped in front of him, he started singing.
I wish I had the presence of mind to actually take a video of him singing to her cos he did have a pretty good voice too :D Aiyoo die la, Mrs. Spiff got an admirer who croons to her now ... LOL!
wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. Mrs Spiff must be on cloud 9 & 10 & 11 too.. hehehhe
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is indeed weird! Why would he be singing like that? Really weird lah, better be careful! Haha
