My car is finally out of the shop and thankfully it didn't cos me an arm and three legs. In fact it was cheaper than what was initially quoted to which was a pleasant surprise really :D The initial diagnosis of the repair job which was supposed to be the bearings of the absorber turned out to be something else.
It was actually the ball joint of the steering rack and it didn't cost as much as the bearings would have cost. At least now the car doesn't sound like it has a whole contingent of birds living in there ... LOL! And that is some good news heading into the weekend.
Now if only the car would just stop giving me headaches every now and then, that would indeed be really great news but I'm not holding my breath though :D
